Kathy Masko is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (D.O.M.P., D.Sc.O) and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). She has trained and worked as a Doula, Infant Massage Instructor and pursued Continuing Education in Fetal Positioning and Hypnobirthing. She has recently completed her research on the Effects of Global Osteopathic Treatment on Cephalic Version for Breech Pregnancies that was directed towards the mother’s carriage of the fetus rather than any manipulation of the breech fetus itself. Though the results showed that osteopathic treatment had no statistical signicance on fetal presentation for birth she did find patterns in the women, as well as fetal lie positions, that may be possible explanations for a breech presenting fetus.
Since 1996 she has owned and operated the clinic Wholistic Body Works in London, Ontario which specializes in pregnancy, birth and postpartum support. While Kathy’s practice has had clients of both sexes and various age ranges, her real passion has always been working with pregnant women and babies, specifically babies that have had difficult births. |

Beginning her journey into the health field as an RMT allowed for an excellent preparation for Osteopathy, a lifelong interest. She strongly felt the need for more training in order to enhance her ability to help these women and children.
She is an active member of both the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
She brings her unique personality, joy for life, sense of humour and driving desire to help others to every endeavor. |
